Do You Have Information On KIDSPORT?

What Is Required For The Uniform?

We supply your child with a guernsey at each game and you can purchase Raiders shorts and socks from our uniform shop.

You will need to purchase football boots from a sport store, but we also regularly receive donations of second-hand boots. Kids can grow out of their boots quickly, so they can be in very good condition. Please ask your team’s manager for more information.

When Can I Purchase Merchandise or Uniforms?

Merchandise, shorts and footy socks are available from our Uniform Shop. The shop will be open regularly from the beginning of the season. These times will be announced on the club’s Facebook page and by email from your team’s manager once the season is up and running. Please be aware that the merchandise shop is run by volunteers so cannot be opened to suit individual needs and times.

When Does The Season Start?

  • Years 3–12 usually commence in late April.
  • Auskick begins the week after Years 3–12.

Does My Child Play On Saturday Or Sunday?

  • Auskick is played on Saturday mornings
  • Years 3–6 play on Saturday (morning or afternoon)
  • Years 7–12 play on Sunday (morning or afternoon)

What Day And Time Is Training?

This always depends on the wonderful person/s who volunteers to be your coach, and ground availability. As soon as we have any training information it will be published on our website and communicated to you through your team’s manager. Most training sessions are one afternoon per week, some coaches train twice per week.

How Can I Help?

Without the commitment and support of our wonderful parents, family members, volunteers, life members and care givers at the Raiders, we couldn’t function.  We have numerous roles and duties that need to be done on a weekly or just occasional basis.

Here are just a few roles that need to be filled to ensure our club and teams run smoothly: coach, team manager, parent umpiring, assisting in the canteen, sponsorship co-ordinator, fund-raising co-ordinator, you could even just organise one fund-raising event or initiative, siren duty, oval line marking, get involved with social functions or assist the coach with training drills.

Don’t be scared or put off by these roles.  Most are pretty simple, you will be shown what to do and a lot of them you may only have to do once in the whole season.

Please take a moment to reflect on what your skill set is, whether it’s footy or admin, any questions or ideas please contact our club secretary here.

Is There A Discount On Fees For A Second Child?

2nd Child is $10 off – we can only offer this if you pay via EFT as we are unable to add a discount if you pay online when registering.
